Originally from Kent, she has worked in several small animal practices both there and in Norfolk before joining Larwood & Kennedy as a senior nurse in December 2017, where she was then promoted to Head Nurse in July 2018. Charley joined the practice in 2014 to begin her training as a veterinary nurse. She qualified as a RVN in 2018 and is looking forward to a very exciting and rewarding career. Charley grew up on a farm and has been around animals all of her life, which has inspired her career choice. She has two yellow Labrador’s called Maisie and Milly.
Suzanne Hitchman RVN
Nurse in charge of reception
Having trained at Larwood & Kennedy for her nursing qualifications from 1997 to 2000, Suzanne returned with the support of her husband in October 2011 as a member of the team following a career break to raise their two sons. Suzanne enjoys the diversity her role offers, the support she receives for continuing with her nursing of animals alongside the contact she has with customers at the reception desk. She is also one of our pet loss and bereavement support advisers. Her family has a Springer Spaniel who gets overly excited about coming to work with her and it’s great to see that so many of our patients are equally as pleased to see us when they attend.
Student Veterinary Nurse
Holly has been working for Larwood & Kennedy since July 2015 as a trainee nurse. She is in her second year at college and is very excited to qualify and officially become a RVN, as it’s always been her dream job. In her free time she loves walking her dogs named Barley and Luna, riding her horse called Poppy and spending time with her husband.
